Class Mounts In LOTRO, A Picture & Video Guide

As an avid mount collector, I was excited when Lord of the Rings Online introduced class themed steeds. These mounts are the perfect addition to expand and add depth to your character’s story. Obtaining your class specific mount (or bear as a Beorning) doesn’t require a quest or long grind, it can be there with you from the start if you wish, or when you have mastered your role and are ready to call your companion forward to follow your destiny against the evils of Middle-earth.

How to Obtain LOTRO Class Mounts

The Lord of the Rings Online class themed mounts are available in the LOTRO store as a Premium Mount with a +68% movement speed and 250 health. Upon purchase you are granted the skill for your chosen mount and a set of War-steed cosmetics inspired by the travel mount. The cost of these mounts is 1995 LOTRO points for a single-character or 2495 for an account-wide option, check the LOTRO store for specifics under Collections > Mounts.

TIP: Holding the space bar down while on your steed causes your horse to greet you with a neigh.
